Each row is one interview. Click any row to open its details, covered below.

Status

Quality ratings

Every completed interview is rated on three things: how long the conversation ran, how substantive the answers were, and how much of your research plan it actually covered. For why Fair is charged differently, see Study actions.

Filtering by quality

Use the filter above the table to choose which ratings you see. Excellent, Good, and Fair are shown by default. Poor is also shown while the study has only a few interviews, then hidden. Tick it any time to bring those rows back.

End reasons

An interview that ended early can still be useful. Check its quality rating and transcript before discounting it.

Row actions

The icon at the end of each row depends on how the study recruits: Both ask you to confirm, and neither can be undone.

Downloading calls

Open the ⋮ menu above the table and choose Download calls (CSV). You get one row per call: email, status, date, duration, quality, end reason, full transcript, and recording links. The export follows your quality filter. Transcripts can’t be downloaded one at a time.

Reviewing a single interview

Expanding a row opens Call Details, with up to three tabs and these controls:
  • Share copies a link to this call. Anyone with access to the study can open it.
  • An audio player for the call recording, when there is one.
  • View Video plays the video recording, on studies that captured one. Studies that sent participants to a concept link show Replay buttons instead, which play back what they did there.

Transcript

The full conversation, with the moderator on one side and the participant on the other. Each turn shows its time into the call, so you can find the same moment in the recording.
Read the transcript, but listen to at least a few. Tone, hesitation, and emphasis don’t survive the transcription.

Attributes

The participant’s answers to your screener questions. Panel studies also show their panel profile attributes. On synthetic studies grounded in an earlier interview, a Synthetic · Interview-grounded note appears at the top. The responses are AI-generated from a real member interview, not a new conversation. See Synthetic respondents.

Summary

What this specific interview produced:
  • Overall takeaways — the headline points from the conversation
  • Each key question from your research plan, with what this participant said in response and a supporting quote where there is one
Questions the conversation never reached are marked unanswered, so you can spot coverage gaps at a glance.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, and they’re available as soon as the interview finishes processing.
Accuracy is high on clear audio. Background noise and strong accents can reduce it, so check the recording when a passage matters.
No. Transcripts are read-only so the record stays faithful to what was said.
