Getting Started

User Intuition is an AI-powered customer intelligence platform that conducts natural voice interviews to uncover the “why” behind customer decisions. Our AI interviewer has deep conversations with your customers, and the platform synthesizes findings into actionable insights.
Traditional surveys collect structured, quantitative data. User Intuition conducts actual conversations—asking follow-up questions, probing deeper on interesting responses, and adapting to each participant. This reveals motivations, emotions, and context that surveys miss.
No. Creating a study is as simple as having a conversation with Charles, our AI researcher. The only technical requirement is implementing the widget if you want to embed it in your app (and even that’s just copying provided code).
Most users complete setup in 10-15 minutes. You’ll work with Charles to customize your research plan, configure your interviewer, and launch.

Studies and Interviews

User Intuition supports Win/Loss Analysis, Churn Analysis, NPS/CSAT Deep-Dives, Customer Onboarding research, Brand Health tracking, and fully custom research designs.
Most interviews run 10-20 minutes, depending on your research plan. You can adjust the depth and number of topics to control interview length.
Yes, but we recommend against making changes after participants have completed interviews. Changing methodology mid-study compromises data comparability.
Partial responses are recorded and marked accordingly. You’ll have access to whatever portion of the conversation was completed.
Yes. You can have multiple active studies running simultaneously. Each study has its own dashboard.

Participants and Recruiting

Yes—and we recommend it. User Intuition is designed for interviewing your actual customers, which produces more relevant and actionable insights than panel participants.
You have several options: use our research panel of 4M+ participants, share a study link on social media or your website, or embed the widget in your app.
Our panel includes over 4 million verified participants across diverse demographics. You specify how many responses you need, and we recruit qualified participants.
Yes. You can set a reward amount (between 5and5 and 250) per completed interview during study setup or from the dashboard Actions menu. Rewards are sent as digital gift cards via Tremendous and debited from your wallet. You need a payment method on file to send rewards.
Send personalized invitations, set clear time expectations, mention any incentives, send reminders to non-responders, and time invitations appropriately.

AI Interviewer

Elliot and Clara are our AI interviewer voices. Elliot is a male voice with an American accent, known for a soothing, friendly tone. Clara is a female voice with an American accent, known for a calming, professional demeanor.
The AI follows your research plan but adapts dynamically to each conversation. It uses laddering techniques to probe deeper when participants say something interesting, much like a skilled human interviewer would.
Participants are informed they’re speaking with an AI moderator. However, our conversational quality is so natural that many participants report feeling like a genuine conversation—leading to our 98% participant satisfaction rate.
English is the default. You can also configure interviews in other languages — including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and more — via the study’s voice settings. Screener questions are translated automatically when you set a non-English language. If you need a language that isn’t currently selectable, contact our team.

Data and Analysis

All transcripts are available immediately after each interview completes. Navigate to the Calls tab in your study dashboard to view transcripts and listen to audio recordings.
Reports are generated on-demand after you have at least 2 completed interviews. Click “Generate Report” in the Reports tab to create your analysis.
Currently, you need to manually regenerate reports to include new responses. Automatic updates are on our roadmap.
Quality is based on call duration, participant verbosity (substantive vs. one-word answers), and coverage of research objectives.
Yes. Transcripts and reports can be exported for external analysis or sharing. Pro plan users can also generate PowerPoint presentations from the Intelligence Hub.
The Intelligence Hub is an AI-powered workspace where you can aggregate data from multiple studies and external documents, ask questions across all your research, and generate reports and presentations. It is available on the Pro plan and above. See Intelligence Hub for details.

Privacy and Security

Yes. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect all participant data. Contact us for detailed security documentation.
Data retention varies by plan. Contact support for specific retention policies.
You can delete individual invitations. Deleting a study removes all associated data permanently.

Billing and Plans

User Intuition offers three plans: Starter (free, pay per interview at 25/credit),Pro(monthlysubscriptionwith50creditsincludedat25/credit), **Pro** (monthly subscription with 50 credits included at 20/credit for additional), and Enterprise (custom pricing). See Billing and credits for full details.
Each interview consumes credits based on the mode: chat interviews cost 0.5 credits, audio interviews cost 1 credit, and video interviews cost 2 credits. You can purchase additional credits or enable auto-reload from the Billing page.
No. Test conversations are free and unlimited. Only real participant interviews count toward your usage.
Yes. On the Billing page, click Apply coupon and enter your code. Credits are added to your balance immediately.
User Intuition accepts credit and debit cards through Stripe.
You won’t be able to launch new studies or process new interviews until you add more credits. You can buy credits anytime from the Billing page, or enable auto-reload to top up automatically.
Research panel participants cost $20 each. This is a pass-through cost covering incentives, screening, and fraud prevention. Interviewing your own customers incurs no additional cost beyond credits.

Troubleshooting

Ensure participants have a stable internet connection and a compatible browser. For audio/video interviews, they’ll need microphone/camera permissions.
Transcription accuracy is typically 95%+. Background noise or strong accents may reduce accuracy. Reference the audio recording for verification.
Reports require substantive data. Ensure you have at least 2 completed interviews with high-quality responses. More interviews produce richer reports.
