# Claude directory research connector

> Connect Claude to existing User Intuition studies, transcripts, and reports with a read-only MCP endpoint.

The User Intuition connector for the Claude directory gives Claude read-only access to research already available in your User Intuition workspace. Sign in with your User Intuition account through OAuth. Claude can search findings and inspect their source interviews without changing your studies or account.

## Connect

Use this remote MCP URL when adding the directory research connector:

Sign in with an account that can access the studies you want to explore. The connection uses the same User Intuition login as the full MCP server, but exposes a smaller tool catalog.

## What Claude can read

| Tool | Purpose |
| - | - |
| `list_studies` | Find studies by name, status, recruiting method, date, or report availability |
| `get_study` | Read the saved research plan, audience, screeners, and concept assets |
| `get_fielding_progress` | See completed interviews, quality counts, and fielding progress |
| `get_study_report` | Read report findings, participant responses, and source references |
| `search_research` | Search indexed research across selected studies |
| `list_interviews` | Find interview records and their status |
| `get_interview` | Read bounded pages of spoken transcript segments |

The directory connector cannot create or change studies, start interviews or recruitment, send participant rewards, generate media, or change account data. For study creation and fieldwork, use the [full MCP server](/mcp-server/overview) as a custom connection.

Search results depend on the studies and indexes available to your authenticated workspace. If you do not see a study, check that your User Intuition account has access to it.
